Ministries
One body, many ministries—each one a reflection of His love.
We value family at The Well and therefore kids ministry is a high priority. We have mature leaders of Godly character who lead children of various ages in spiritual growth, Biblical education and fun-filled activities during our services. We are constantly endeavouring to up-skill our leaders and as such, training, resource acquisition and vision-eering are constantly in our mind and part of our annual calendar planning.
Are you between the age of 13 & 19? Do you or someone you know have children of this age? Come and join fun-filled youth events with other teens from various nations. Laughter, fun, adventure, friendship, community and spiritual growth are guaranteed. With trustworthy leaders who are serious about Jesus and serious about having fun, teenagers will find a safe environment to grow through life’s challenges and get answers to difficult questions.
“And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 9 And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, 10 and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.””
Revelations 5:8-10
The harp represents worship and the bowl full of incense represents the prayers of the saints that rise to heaven.
Once a month, all the home groups and visitors gather together in one location, and together seek the face of God in worship and prayer. Some teaching is given on prayer, intimacy, and the practice of God’s presence. Specific prayer points are covered corporately as well as exercises in focus on God’s presence. The purpose of Harp & Bowl events is to increase the overall level of worship, intimacy, prayer and awareness of God’s presence in the church.
Psalm 16:5-6
In Yerevan, there are many who have been displaced geographically, finding themselves in a situation of insecurity and unpleasant places in their lives. It is our heart to see the boundary lines fall in pleasant places for these people as they discover their delightful inheritance in the Lord.
James 1:27
The Well strives to obey this scripture as well as others that speak of making a difference in the community. With initiatives like orphanage outreach, a clothes bank and food bank, giving to families and individuals in need, we are trusting God that we will have a far-reaching footprint in our city and nation. We are also working with World Without Orphans to serve between churches, organizations and government sectors to collaborate and strengthen families and vulnerable children. In this past year we have been able to respond to needs even within professional sectors, bringing in trainers for those working with children involved with trauma intervention. We have trainers for social workers, people in legal sectors and doctors in child trauma intervention preparing to come again this year to serve this nation.
“Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts.”
Psalm 33:3
We take the command to “play skillfully” seriously, and are eager to see worship teams consisting of men, women and children of all ages and backgrounds leading the church into intimate praise and worship.
